Rod Vereen has done what most politicians never have — stood in a courtroom and fought for real people.

As an Assistant Federal Public Defender, he fought for the accused when no one else would. As an Assistant State Attorney, he stood up for victims and held criminals accountable. As chair of his own firm, he fought for families who had nowhere else to turn.
